About Us

About Us
Glenn and I have been married for ten spectacular years. We recently moved to Saudi Arabia, which is obviously very far away from both of our families. We keep this blog updated so we can stay close to our friends and fam and to keep a record of our family adventures. Glenn is enjoying his new job and I am loving being a stay-at-home mom. We have two sweet little boys, Tate and Finn and two darling twin baby girls, Taryn and Kenna. We love them to pieces. We also love date nights, good movies, good food, and being with each other.

Picture Tuesday: Weeks 40 and 41

The past two weeks just flew by.  Last week I was busy getting ready for a holiday craft fair on camp and Picture Tuesday got lost in the fray.  But here are some pictures from last week and this week!

40 weeks old
Last week Kenna was climbing up a chair in the kitchen that had one of my shirts hanging over it to dry.  She grabbed the shirt and fell down smacking her little forehead right on the corner of the leg of the chair.  She wasn't mad very long but she had a pretty decent bruise right away and it's still sort of there even though it's faded quite a bit.  No new teeth from either little babe this week.

41 weeks old.
Kenna has had a fever for the last few days.  We thought it was just teething since her little gums seem swollen and she's extra drooly and her nose keeps running.  But now we think she probably has some sort of virus.  It's so sad when a little baby is sick.  She seems so tired and so confused.  She's never really been sick before so feeling this rotten has just got to be the worst.  She's extra cuddly which is nice but the poor little baby is just so miserable.  Every time anyone puts her down or if she even gets bumped a little bit she just cries a sad, small, horse cry that's just so pathetic I can't help but laugh and then scoop her up to make it better.  I hope she feels better soon!
Taryn has got some of her smiles back this week.  For a while there she wouldn't smile at ANYONE.  She's just stare with a completely blank expression as if she was issuing a challenge.  But this week she's been a little more friendly.  We sure love our little girls.

I love the first year of life for my grands because I get to hear about them and see cute pictures every week. That's quite a job to keep that up with 2 boys and twin girls but I sure enjoy it. In fact I would be delighted with daily posting, just saying!
